About

Charles brings a client-first approach to wealth management, grounded in trust, transparency, and long-term planning. He works closely with high-net-worth individuals and small institutions to build customized portfolios that align with their financial goals. His investment strategy focuses on long-bias exposure to Canadian and U.S. markets, combining fundamental research and macroeconomic insight. Portfolios typically include high-quality, undervalued dividend-paying stocks, preferred shares, bonds, and convertible securities.

Charles co-founded Palos and has served as Chief Investment Officer since 2021, following two decades as President and CEO. Charles also manages the Palos Income Fund LP and the Palos Equity Income Fund and plays a central role in the firm’s investment committee. A graduate of McGill University with a BA in Economics, he holds the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) designation. He has served on public and private boards and on several Independent Review Committees. Beyond the office, Charles enjoys skiing, hiking, and spending time with his family.
